Since the first production of chemical nitrogen in Norway in 1905, Yara has developed products and sustainable operations around the world. Currently, Yara has a leading position on the markets of ammonia, urea, nitric acid and technical nitrates. This knowledge of nitrogen chemicals allows us to continually develop innovative solutions and high quality products in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
Technical Urea
Yara is one of the world's main producers of Urea. It has 30 factories across the globe, including our principal sites in Le Havre in France, Sluiskil in the Netherlands, and Brunsbüttel in Germany which supply Urea to the UK & Ireland market.
